Hi,
I’m the webmaster for the BikeDFW web site. I wanted to check if we could get permission to post an announcement about Cyclesomatic on our site and use the image/poster. I’m also an administrator for the Plano Bicycle Assoc. web site and will put an announcement there also.
This looks like a great event.
Thanks,
Marc

Please do! We’ve just signed DART on, and a few other schools as well, so we should be updating the calendar soon.
Thanks!

Jason -
In addition to Marc’s posting of the Cyclesomatic event, we are planning a Sunday morning ride to Oak Cliff, probably this next Sunday morning, although I might put it off a week for better planning! The plan is to ride down from Plano, eat breakfast, and come back.
I have ridden down there before and know my way a bit, but could use a little bit of help on the routes. Could you contact me on this? I assume you can see my email address, but if not, post here and I will find another way to contact you!
Thanks,
Warren

Will we have to buy tickets for the Home Tour Ride?
September 23, 2009 at 4:08 pm
Yes, but they’ll be 10% off the regular price of the home tour. We’re going to announce that event this week and will provide more details.

hey folks–
i’m the guy who shot the little video for OCBC
one of my recent projects was a documentary:
“cycle-touring france on 40 euros a day”
i know it’s late, but i would be a gas to screen it during the fest.
here’s a clip–

This event doesn’t seem to have a cohesive agenda lined up? What are the details? It just jumps all over the place.
Is there transportation for bikes in the event some of can’t fit them in our cars? Is there a rental place for bikes at the venue start?
thanks.

Which event are you referring to? There are 20 listed.

I’m orginally from CA., we have bike lanes there. I am currently with SPC for safe skateboarding a free Skatepark in Arlington, this goes along the same lines because several times in our meetings and meetings with insurance companies, its not just about skaters, its about bikers too. Texas needs bike lanes for safe streets. Want you to know this is an issue we’ve been brining up in Arlington too.

Thank you for all of your efforts to create a bicycle event in Dallas! My wife and I attended the Bicycle Film Festival in NYC some months ago and it is great to see a week long festival of all things bike here in Dallas.
We’re looking forward to Saturday night and will do what we can to bea the drum and drive more folks out to the event!
